Dear Ravi
We're not exaggerating our praises. We see so many bad UIs around the web, it kills us sometimes! Ahimsa is a truly great theme!

Hello! Thank you for your extremely generous review (second section of your post). Version 2.2 of Ahimsa has preliminary support for custom colour schemes, so that you do not have to live with my taste in colours ;-). I invite you to suggest other improvements (you can do so by filing requests at http://ahrencode.16bugs.com/) -- one change I have in the works that might please you is an option to hide the "actions" box in a post/page view until the viewer clicks on it.

It helps that I share your views on productive web page design (I must note however that I am not a design expert or student, so I am sure there is great room for improvement in my theme).

And Ahimsa approximately means "non-violence" or "no harm", which you could certainly interpret as "Peace".
