Now keep the idiots out
October 31st, 2009 by Nitesh

You know, you make a wall to pay tribute to someone and there’ll be some idiot who’ll ruin everything by putting a sticky that says “you suck”.
Now, you can keep these idiots out by turning on what we call the Idiot Filter.

If you turn the Idiot Filter on .. all posts on the wall would require you, the wall owner, to approve them before they show up on the wall. To turn the filter on, just click this option on the Wall Builder:

Approve option

If you want to turn the Idiot Filter on on an existing wall,  just log in to your account and edit the wall. Any future posts on the wall will require your approval.

So, no more idiots!

I approved a post on my wall from a co worker.
    I moved his post.
Up popped your button in the lower left to UNDO that action.
Clicking it does not UNDO the move.

    thanks
    Dan

    Hi there!

Will the wall owner get an email message then, when there’s a new sticky on his wall to moderate?
That would be a nice feature!
Thanks for the app anyway. It’s great!

I second the idea of a notification of posts–even if I’m not moderating posts, I’d like to know when a student posts to my classroom wall. Also, on a wall with a lot of posts, a time-stamp would be great. Finally, it would be really cool to be able to change the color of a sticky when posted… This is a cool app and I’m just thinking about how it could be cooler…
